You have awoken and realized that you are not the same. Do you keep it or undo it? Can you keep it now that you are awake.
As you change you may notice that you are not the same. This is quite different from changing and not knowing that you have changed.
If the change is positive, determine to keep moving. What was familiar is gone, to be replaced by what is to be.
Here is where the strength of the training will be expressed.
A recognition of self in the midst of change that accounts for change in the right direction is essential to keep the change.
Recognize that you are not the same and that the new you is you and the new basis for comparison.
When you see yourself change accept yourself as the new you. This new you is the stepping stone to the next new you and so on and so on and so on.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor 3:18)
